Medical Secretary

Medical Secretary required for a healthcare company based in Wythenshawe The role is working as a Medical Secretary within the ENT department and reporting to the Service Lead. The main part of the role will be listening to audio transcripts and audio typing these using digital dictation. You must have proven audio typing experience for this role and it would also be advantageous to have previously worked within a hospital setting or within healthcare. The role is immediately available and offers a rate of £12.50ph. What will you be doing as a Medical Secretary? Typing letters, reports and associated and documentation as required Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently Managing all enquiries in an effective manner Maintaining an accurate referrals database Actioning all incoming emails Processing calling letters as requested Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients healthcare records Answering incoming calls Supporting all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested Managing all administrative queries as necessary We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience: You must have previous audio typing experience Medical secretarial experience would be preferred, within a hospital or healthcare setting EMIS experience would be an advantage Friendly and positive approach Good communication skills Strong attention to detail and organisation skills Must be computer literate and confident using MS Office What will you get in return for work as a Medical Secretary? £12.50 per hour Weekly pay Temporary to permanent could be available, however initially a 6 week minimum commitment would be required 37.5 hours per week, working Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm You will be joining a friendly/family like team Fantastic transport links Immediate start available If this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV toay!We aim to respond to all successful applications within 2 days.
