We are currently looking for an incredible locum Medicines Management Technician to work with our client in Surrey, in a large NHS trust. If you’re interested in a new challenge, then please see the information below!

- Location: Surrey
- Duration: 6 Months
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9AM – 5:30PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of pay: £17 - £26 per hour.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
- Participate in ward rounds to administer patient drug histories and liaise with patient families, community pharmacists and GPs.
- Providing clinical expertise and being an educational resource for colleagues in relation to medicines e.g. doses, side-effects, alternatives etc whilst helping to address the public health and social needs of individual patients.
- Manage the process of medicines reconciliation on admittance or following discharge from hospital and liaise with patients and community pharmacists to ensure patients have the medicines that they need.
- Overseeing reuse of patients own medication where appropriate.
