Meeting & Events Co-Ordinator - Clayton Hotel Belfast

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Meeting & Events Co-Ordinator in the Clayton Hotel Belfast

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the HOD, the Meeting & Events Co-Ordinator is an individual who makes sure that a huge part of this department is kept functioning at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To offer the highest level of guest service in all Meeting & Events ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
  • To meet & greet all corporate guests who are attending a meeting or event in the hotel.
  • To check set ups for corporate guests.
  • To post meetings & Events charges
  • Gathering & collating client feedback.
  • To handle customer complaints if they occur.
  • Referring customer leads to the sales department.
  • To assist with any changes that might occur on the day of an event/conference.
  • To check and send out client invoices.
  • To work as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs.
  • To promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
  • To enhance the guest experience.
  • To ensure that the M&E areas have safe working practices and that all spillages etc are tended to without delay.
  • To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your departments standard operating procedures, particularly room set ups.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with customers
  • An excellent command of the English language
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a strong team player
