Randstad are seeking a skilled Project Engineer specialised in MEICA for a national contractor after an anticipated surge in MEICA-related projects. This position aims to bolster the resilience of their MEICA Team, supporting the existing MEICA Co-ordinator. Based mainly in either Tamworth or Huntingdon, with occasional site visits and client/consultant meetings,
Primary Responsibilities:
- Shape works scope and sequencing considerations to establish project deliverables, working closely with operational teams for delivery
- Contribute to scoping and executing asset investigation/survey works, collaborating with supply chain partners, clients, consultants, and managing on-ground services procurement
- Provide regular project status reports and participate in key project meetings
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Support quantity surveyors in tender bids for MEICA elements
Skills Required:
- Hold professional membership as an Incorporated Engineer in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a thorough grasp of the other discipline
- Preferable experience in pumping stations, river/tidal control structures, level monitoring instrumentation, and PLC/HMI control systems
- Experience in FAT's and SAT's for MEICA projects
- Familiarity with dealing with Statutory Bodies, Clients, specialists, subcontractors, etc
- Understanding of latest CDM regulations and BIM principles
- Knowledge of MEICA Assets and associated project management considerations, with a willingness to undergo further training
