Form of workThis exciting new position provides a fantastic opportunity for a target-driven person to join the organisation. If you're passionate about the garden industry and are looking to broaden your knowledge and experience, this could be the role for you.
The successful applicant will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with members, potential members, and industry stakeholders, including growers, retailers and manufacturers across the Southeast region. You will be the primary point of contact for promoting a range of products and services and addressing queries to bring benefit to both my client and its members.
You will also be responsible for promoting membership of the association to deliver our growth targets, as well as building relationships with industry suppliers and selling exhibition space at a range of events.
- The right candidate for this role will be ambitious and enthusiastic with a natural sales ability.
- Previous experience in a membership organisation in agriculture, manufacturing, retail or horticulture. They will take responsibility for identifying new opportunities and maintaining existing relationships.
- A proven sales and customer service experience, preferably within the above sectors.
- This role will cover a specific geographical area and so a full, clean licence will be required
Benefits and Hours
- Full time 35 hours a week, 2 days home working and 3 days in Office
- Excellent for managing work and our lives away from it - with core business hours of 10:00 - 16:00 and an office open from 08:30 - 17:30.
