Job title:               Senior Authorised Person

Day Rate:             £300 - £350 Per Day or £60k - 70k PER annum

Location:             Poplar

Duration:             Permanent or 2 years Freelance

O’Neill and Brennan have an immediate requirement for a Senior Authorised Person. Our client is a reputable M&E Subcontractor who are working on a large residential project.

As a Senior Authorised Person you will be responsible for the safety of yourself and others in High Voltage areas; the Senior Authorised Person must take steps to ensure High Voltage equipment is safely isolated and safe to work on and is ultimately responsible as a senior figure for overseeing the work of Authorised Persons.

Your duties will include

• Enforcing RAMS

• Attend daily briefings & site walks with main contractors and clients

• Ensure good testing procedures and quality workmanship is always maintained

• Co-ordinate delivery of materials

• Report to Project Manager

• Progress Meetings / Reports

• Manage the overall Energisation De-Energisation on the project and will be responsible for ensuring that the clients Energisation Procedures are implemented in full on site.

The successful Senior Authorised Person candidate will have:

• NVQ3 & Initial and Periodic Inspecting and Testing of Electrical Installations
• 18th Edition
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS
