Location: Bisham Abbey
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours Part time, 24 hours across 3 days, between Monday to Sunday
Salary: £15,300 per annum + Commission + excellent benefits

Bisham Abbey is one of Sport England`s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Bisham Abbey provides excellent facilities to Britain's leading sports men and women. Bisham Abbey is also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.
It's an extremely exciting time to join the company as we head into the Olympics. Our facility regularly hosts NGB Teams, with England Hockey competing in the Olympics, you will have the ability to play a key part of their success by running a smooth and efficient shift during their stay. You will also be working closely with England Rugby, Fab Academy, Living Tennis and more!
In this role you will support the business to generate income by achieving monthly Health and Fitness Membership Sales and membership retention targets. Answering directly to the site's Leisure Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process. You will work with the local community and companies to generate sales opportunities through lead generation. The role will require evening and weekend working.
We are very keen to find an individual who can find opportunities to offer our fantastic facilities to the local community and support the growth of the contract.
In addition, there will be times when you will be required to assist other members of staff.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts and excellent development opportunities.
About you
We are looking to hear from candidates that have previous experience of dealing face to face with customers in a busy environment including sales experience if possible.
You will have good communication and customer care skills, have a maturity and calmness to work under pressure, the ability to handle cash and maintain customer records, as well as a good telephone manner and confident with using IT systems.
Lastly, you must show proactiveness and innovation within the role in addition to being self-motivated and target driven.
