Would you like to gain experience and develop your career working within an Occupational Therapy Service that serves two London boroughs?

If yes, then we have a role for you.

About the role

You’ll bring the kind of person-centred expertise that empowers independence, choice, and control.

If you have the talent and ambition to achieve the best for the people we serve, then we will support you to progress and develop throughout your occupational therapy career.

Your duties will include:

  • To complete intervention plans and make recommendations using a client centred approach and making best use of resources in order to maximise service user’s functional independence in activities of daily living within their homes
  • To undertake complex Moving and Handling Risk Assessments
  • To recommend and provide specialist equipment, minor and major adaptations, liaising with appropriate professionals when necessary
  • To respond appropriately to urgent referrals and prioritise workload in response to levels of risk and duty of care within agreed workload throughput targets

For an informal discussion and for more information about the role, please contact Violina Harpar at Violina.Harpar@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk
