Job description
The post holder is a member of specialist community based CAMHS and will undertake a range of duties and responsibilities within the service. They will have responsibility for a case load of clinical work with children and young people with emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The post holder will have a level of skills, knowledge and competencies to provide assessments, planning, and interventions to children and young people within best practice guidelines. The post holder will work in linking, supporting and integrating across CAMHS in meeting the needs of children and young people. The post holder may also be responsible for participating in the delivery of co-ordination duties of referrals made to CAMHS via the central point of entry ensuring effective and efficient triaging of referrals. .

One years post qualifying experience which must be work within mental health services, or services related to children and adolescent, or CAMHSRegistered Nurse Level 1 (sub parts 1, 3, 5 or 8, Adult; Mental Health; Learning Disabilities or Childrens) on the NMC Register.
