Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner

Location: CMHT North West, Macartney House, Beech Mount, Manchester, M9 5XS

Ward: CMHT North West, Macartney House

Pay Rates: £19.10 Per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday – Friday 9.00am – 17.00pm

To be successful in applying for this role you will need: 

• Have a professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy and have a current registration with the appropriate registration body (Nursing and Midwifery Council, Social Work England or Health and Care Professions Council). 
• Have the suitable experience in a Mental Health setting or have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience within the Mental Health field. 

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

• Relevant Qualifications
• Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.

Role responsibilities: 

• You will carry a caseload of patients and work with them, using evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
• Then conducting risk assessments / safeguarding assessments to ensure the correct support is provided.
• You will create treatment plans to support management / recovery of their Mental Health challenges.
• Work within the Multi-Disciplinary team to contribute to formulating and implementing interventions for patients.
