Job description

Rethink Mental Illness are hiring an experienced Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our inspiring and friendly team across our Exeter Services, East Devon Supported Living.Devon Supported Housing is an individualised support service funded by Devon Partnership Trust. It offers housing related support to people with low to medium support needs, leaving a hospital or residential setting.

1 x Full-Time (35 hours) position available

Overview of the role purpose  

As a Mental Health Support Worker (Mental Health Recovery Worker), you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.  

I will work with the following people and teams

  • Service Users
  • Bank Support Workers / Support Workers (Mental Health Recovery Worker)
  • Volunteers
  • Team Leaders
  • Service Manager

You do not need previous work experience to apply for this role throughout your time at Rethink we will support you on your learning journey helping you develop in the area of work.
