We are looking for Support Workers in the Cardiff area experienced in working in the Mental Health sector. Great rates of pay up to £13.70 per hour, flexible shifts are available including days, evenings and weekends and sleep ins. This is a highly rewarding role supporting various services. This is a support role, encouraging people to develop independence as well as providing care and support. Duties include supporting around the house, helping with outings and activities, supporting with medication and mealtimes and daily chores and enriching the day to day lives of the people you are supporting.
You must be PBS trained and be willing to be registered on Social Care Wales.
There will be on-going shifts, thorough inductions and extra training available for staff working in each service, whether you are looking for full time hours or an extra shift a week.
Applicants will need to be trained and experienced in care and support work, ideally with experience of working with autism and Mental Health. We also have work in the surrounding areas accessible by public transport or driving.
Free refresher training is available.
Applicants should be trained and have six months experience working in the care sector. Must be signed up with Social Care Wales and have an updated certificate in practical manual handling.
