Hi all,
I am currently hiring for the following role: Mental health Support Worker needed in Highbury - Male preferred
Please note this will be a full time role so if you can only work 20 hours a week this wouldn't be suitable for you.
We do not offer sponsorship or relocation.
Due to the type of clients in the recovery home, the manager has requested Males with Mental health experience to apply for this role.
- Recovery House is an alternative to hospital admission. We provide 24-hour support in a 12 bedroom accommodation service to vulnerable adults who are experiencing a Mental Health crisis.
- One to One Key work sessions with our friendly and experienced staff with 24/7 staff availability
- Person-Centred support in a non-clinical environment
- Signposting and support to access external services such as the Department for Work and Penions, the Homeless Persons Unit, domestic violence services, Citizens Advice, Debt management services and more.
- Ongoing Support from your Mental Health team
- Support with goal setting
- In-House activities such as creative art and cooking sessions
Hi Georgia, I need someone who is very good with the computer. I prefer Male staff, someone who has experience of working in Mental health service, especially Crisis House. This is not compulsory as long as they have experience of working with people with Mental Health difficulties.
We work shift pattern - 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm, 2pm-10pm and waking night - 9:30pm to 8:30 am. However, I need the person for day shift. The person must be flexible.
There is a bit of cleaning (not much) e.g. staff clean service user’s room when they are discharged from the crisis house - to make the room ready for the next service user. There is cooking session 3 times a day plus other in-house activity.
