Mental Health Team Leader

Hays are proud to be working alongside this reputable local organisation that specialises and provides high standards of care to those in the Mental Health sector to bring you this role of a Team Leader for their service in Woodbridge. This service provides care for 8 tenants that require support in their recovery and rehabilitation from drug and alcohol misuse. Tenants tend to stay in this service for 2 years before moving into less-supported living with the end goal of them moving into independent living.
In this role as a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the team of support workers by leading the team throughout the shift, supporting them through emergency situations, being responsible for 1:1 appraisal and organising staff training. You will report directly to the deputy manager who you will work closely with in regard to staff management but also in relation to assessments of the tenants.
This role is permanent full time with a salary starting at £21,950 - £23,400, dependent on experience, plus one contracted sleep in per week, which averages an extra £3,000 per annum.
