About Our Client
Our client is a renowned main contractor within the London market. Specialising in construction, they have an impressive portfolio of projects in London and pride themselves on their commitment to quality and sustainability, as well as their innovation within modular construction. This particular MEP Manager role will be involved in the delivery of the final stages of a modular high rise development in East London.
Job Description
- Managing all MEP sub-contractor works on site. this also includes third party substation installation.
- Responding to RFI's, reviewing technical submittals and drawing updates.
- Ensuring compliance, checking QA, holding sub-contractors to account
- Leading weekly and monthly meetings
- Liaison with other team members especially; MEP pre-con manager, senior design manager, commercial manager and project manager.
- Liaison with the client and their technical advisors
- Overseeing MEP programme
- Overseeing testing, commissioning, certification and training
- Managing and reviewing O&M documents
The Successful Applicant
A successful MEP Manager should have:
- A relevant MEP qualification
- Demonstrable experience of delivering large scale developments to completion either in a main contractor or MEP contractor environment
- A solid understanding of MEP systems and their application in construction.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- An interest in modular construction
You will be comfortable working 5-days/wk on site in East London.
