This pivotal role combines strategic product assortment and inventory management to propel sales and profitability across all sales channels. As a Merchandiser, you will be at the heart of our commercial strategy, tasked with crafting and implementing plans to surpass targets in sales, stock, margin, and intake through meticulous planning, accurate forecasting, and adaptive trading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning: Develop category level targets from annual divisional budgets, focusing on weekly sales, stock, and margin goals.
• Forecasting: Analyse product performance to adjust inventory strategies, utilizing forecasting tools to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Trading: Manage markdown strategies and promotional activities, monitoring market trends to adjust stock levels accordingly.
• Reporting: Generate detailed reports on sales, stock levels, and supplier performance, facilitating informed decision-making.
• General and Administrative: Oversee product lifecycle management and participate in projects aimed at process and system improvements.
• Health & Safety: Comply with company health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.

The Candidate:

• Merchandise Planning: Demonstrable experience in retail merchandise planning.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Commercial Awareness: High commercial awareness and the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Agile Multitasking: Proficiency in multitasking within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Golf Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the golf industry would be advantageous.
