As a Merchandising Executive, you will oversee and manage the product catalogues that power our client's digital marketplace. Your role will be crucial in ensuring compelling, accurate, and up-to-date catalogues that maximise the commercial opportunity for our client. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Marketing, and Sales, to understand the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the end-to-end process for creating, managing, and optimising digital product catalogues.
- Partner with suppliers to obtain product data and content assets for catalogue population.
- Enforce catalogue quality standards, ensuring accurate information and consistent presentation.
- Conduct ongoing category and competitive analysis to identify merchandising gaps and opportunities.
- Utilise analytics to develop data-driven approaches for catalogue performance and customer behaviour.
- Stay up-to-date on e-commerce best practises and trends to infuse innovation into our catalogue strategy.
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of e-commerce merchandising experience, with expertise in catalogue management.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies and systems (e.g., DAM, PIM, E-commerce Platforms).
- Experience with Shopify E-commerce platform is desirable.
