We are representing a leading UK based manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an experienced Merchant Sales Support Executive, to work within their Northern Sales Team, across the West Midlands and North West region. 

Ideally , you’ll be based in or around one of the following locations; Birmingham, Telford, Chester, Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington etc. 

As the Merchant Sales Support Executive, you will be responsible for working closely with the Sales Team and existing customers in order to maximise the sale of company products via its network of Builders Merchants.

The Role of Merchant Sales Support Executive

• On the road 3 or 4 days a week, visiting Builders Merchants who are existing customers

• Full autonomy of own schedule 

• Building and fostering relationships with customers

• Ensuring the companies products are merchandised 

• Supporting staff with product training 

• Liaising with Area Sales Managers to support the growth of sales in the territory

Experience Required for Merchant Sales Support Executive

• Currently working as Internal Sales, ideally in a Construction or Manufacturing products sector 

• Experience of Customer Relationship Management

• Aspirations to progress into a Business Development/Area Sales role
