We are looking for an experienced Microbiologist who enjoys working in a busy R&D team. The role would suit somebody looking to gain industrial experience and broaden their skills within a young and vibrant organisation.
The role is based in Haverhill, which is easily accessible from Cambridge.
The Role:
- Carrying out testing of products
- Sample analysis
- Developing protocols in line with ISO/ASTM standards
- Analysis & preparation of reports
- Deliver presentations both internally and externally
About You:
- PhD in Microbiology (or similar) or 4+ years' industrial experience
- Broad Microbiological research experience including food related pathogens & mycology
- Excellent aseptic technique & experience working in containment level 2 (CL2)
- Knowledge & understanding of ISO & ASTM standards
- Experience working with bacteria & fungus
- Analytical
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent presentation skills
- Quick thinking & resourceful

What is the package?
- Salary of £35,000 - £40,000
