Osborne Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a prominent national organisation in their quest to onboard a dedicated and experienced Microsoft Business Applications Architectto join their transformation journey. This role is a cornerstone of a comprehensive transformation programme aimed at fostering technological innovation and automation across the organisation.

Position Overview:

As a Microsoft Business Applications Architect , you will play a crucial role in formulating the technology strategy to achieve organisational goals. Engage in a vibrant and fast-paced work environment, where your expertise will be instrumental in advancing technological innovation and automation. This role puts you at the forefront of responsibly leveraging modern technologies to empower both the organisation and its clientele.

Commencement: Q4 2023

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation, updating, and maintenance of key EA deliverables and artefacts.
  • Ensure project compliance with organisational Principles and Standards.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across business units.
  • Lead in defining, implementing, and executing processes for EA definition, maintenance, and conformance management.
  • Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps, reference architectures.
  • Architectural leadership in resolving inter-program and inter-project issues.
  • Engage with third parties ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Continuous promotion of the EA function within the wider organisation.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in an EA role with at least 5 years in software development/analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and in a DevOps/Agile environment.
  • Proficiency with EA tools such as Software AG Alfabet/Aris, Jira/Confluence, LucidChart, and Azure DevOps.
  • Solid background in technology, application, data, and integration architecture including planning, design, and implementation of large-scale projects.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead, mentor teams and facilitate large group sessions.
  • Proficient in explaining complex issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications in TOGAF, Archimate, and Agile.
  • Well-versed in industry trends like IOT, AI/Machine Learning, and Event-Driven Architecture.
