Microsoft Purview Consultant

Robert Half is supporting their client which; a Global Consulting Firm is looking for a Microsoft Purview Consultant to work with their services organisation to help on various Purview Data & Security compliance projects for an initial 6 months interim basis.

Assignment Details:

• Typically remote but may require the odd day on site in London
• £Flexible rate via umbrella ranging from £700-800 but DOE
• Initial 6 Months contract subject to workload and renewal.

The Microsoft Purview Consultant will need experience in :

• Microsoft Purview Data and Security Compliance
• proficiency in leveraging Microsoft Purview to ensure data governance, compliance, and security within an organization's data ecosystem. This includes understanding Purview's capabilities for data discovery, classification, lineage, and governance.
• Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Implementing and managing data loss prevention strategies using Microsoft Purview is essential.
• Adept at configuring DLP policies, monitoring data flows, and implementing remediation measures to prevent data breaches and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management
• Proficiency in deploying and managing insider risk management solutions within Microsoft Purview is necessary.
• Should be capable of identifying and mitigating insider threats by implementing appropriate monitoring, detection, and response mechanisms.
• PowerShell: Strong PowerShell scripting skills are highly desirable for automating tasks, managing configurations, and integrating Microsoft Purview with other systems and services.
• Should be comfortable writing PowerShell scripts to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Microsoft certifications, such as SC-100 (Microsoft CyberSecurity Architect) and/or SC-400 (Microsoft Information Protection Administrator).
