Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Mid Weight Graphic Designer to join the team. This is a newly created position, which will support the activities of the Group Marketing and Communications Function as it goes through a brand refresh. The role holder will be responsible for the design, production and delivery of all branded and marketing materials including printed and digital media.
As part of the Marketing Team, the role holder will be an advocate for the company’s marketing and communications projects. Reporting to the Brand & Design Manager within the Brand & Design Team.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Excellent layout/composition, typographical and aesthetic coherence.
- Capable of working on numerous different and varied projects at one time, often to tight deadlines.
- Experienced or have a keen interest in web design, user experience and digital media.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud including After Effects.
- Ability to create and edit templates within Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Practised at working to brand guidelines.
- A self-starter who can deliver and present cohesive creative ideas.
- Ability to plan a narrative and structure presentations accordingly.
- Capable of sorting through stock imagery to find the best fit.
- In tune with current design trends in digital.
- Formatting documentation including reports, bids and slide decks.
- Proficient at catching typographical, spelling, formatting contextual and stylistic errors and correcting them accordingly.
- Capable of producing explainer Video / Motion Graphics from technical briefs.
Required Work Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years experience designing and producing printed and digital materials through a variety of channels.
- Experience working in-house would be advantageous.

- Graphic Design or similar qualifications
