MIG WELDER

Job Purpose
MIG welder working as part of a small team highly proficient in reading drawings and welding to a high standard.
Key Job Responsibilities: -
- Welding new refuse/Linen chutes systems along with replacement Hopper Doors and Discharge sections.
- Operating sanders, machinery and welding equipment.
- To work safe under the companies Health and Safety guidelines.
- Checking the quality before and after the welding.
- Palletising / manoeuvring parts using lifting aids.
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping.
It is 39 hours per week: Mon to Thursday 8.30 till 17. And Friday till 16.00
There is opportunity for overtime, at this moment coming earlier or Saturdays.
- Ideally someone that can start ASAP
Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience
Essential: -
- Previous experience in MIG welding (MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organised and adapt at managing and prioritising workload.
- Ability to work in a small team.
- Must have an understanding on various metals.
- Must be able to follow drawings accurately.
- Be able to operate fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
Desirable: -
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
- MIG welding experience
