Salary I am working exclusively with my Bedfordshire-based client, a leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical products serving a range of process-related industries, to find an experienced Fabrication Engineer with excellent welding skills to join their in-house Engineering Team.
Based at their site in Stewartby, your key responsibilities will include:
MIG and TIG welding including, but not limited to;
fabrication of:
pin bars;
stands;
burners;
pipework;
cylinders;
louvres;
pining and lining of cylinders.
Cutting and drilling of carbon steel and stainless steel in preparation for welding.
Threading of pipes using pipe threading machine.
General work shop assistance
Person specification:
Proven fabrication experience.
Adaptability to changing work priorities.
Eye for detail and quality work.
Confident team player able to work alone and within existing close-knit team.
Willingness to learn and share knowledge / experience with colleagues.
Willingness to get involved and add 'value' to the team.
In return they are willing to pay an attractive salary for a standard working week Mon-Fri 8-4 (some flexibility available). They also have free carparking on site.
