I am delighted to present you with a fantastic opportunity for one of my clients based in Telford who are looking for an MIS officer to join their team.

Office based – 5 days.

Salary £40,000

Hours: 8 to 5pm

Subject to Enhanced DBS check

The successful candidate will be expected to work within data protection and take measures to ensure security and confidentiality of data.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Accurately populating data into the MIS.
• Managing the module report system process.
• Data analysis of specific groups of students, identifying trends and patterns.
• Interpretation of data, benchmarking, and reporting.
• To manage and process the census.
• To provide first level support for day-to-day issues
• The testing and introduction of emerging features of the MIS.
• Training staff in the efficient use of the MIS  and sharing best practice.
• Data analysis, identifying trends and patterns
• The testing and introduction of emerging MIS systems to create a dashboard 

Your key skills and experience will include:

• IT Software maintenance.
• To setting up computer equipment and software as required.
• To maintain an accurate hardware inventory and log of support requests.
• To administer the Internet and Intranet systems as directed by the Line Manager.
• To ensure stock levels of IT consumables are managed efficiently
• To carry out regular audit checks.
• PC and Peripheral Repairs, Routine Maintenance and Cleaning.
