Bolton Council are looking for a Missing from Home Coordinator.
The required professional should have a good experience of Missing statutory guidance, social care processes and recording mechanisms.
The post is overseeing children who go Missing from Home or care main priorities include:
• Daily Recording of missing information on social care system.
• Scrutinise activity relating to children going missing, sharing information particularly in relation to risks or harm and especially when these identify associates who are missing together or locations.
• Attending Strategy Meetings for individual children.
• Support service providers to conduct Independent Return Interviews and oversee the commission (currently RUNA).
• Promote and oversee compliance by providers and social care staff re the Looked After Child and Missing Protocol, particularly for Bolton children placed out of borough.
• Ensure compliance with Statutory Guidance and GM Protocol.
