Address Axcis Education are working with a specialist primary school based in Tameside to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants to work with children with moderate learning difficulties (MLD). The role is working with children aged 4-11 years old who present with MLD which includes, but not limited to, ASD, ADHD, SEMH. The role will require flexibility to provide both 1:1 and group support. The classes are of mixed ability with 7 or 8 pupils. all supported by a class teacher and dedicated TA team. The school supports children from across Tameside who have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) and need complex support. Using their own individual learning pathways. the children are well supported through state of the art facilities and devoted staffing team. Working hours for this role are 08:30-15:30, Monday - Friday and term time only with daily pay rates from £90 - £95 depending on experience. The role is temporary to start April 2024 and is ongoing until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate has classroom based experience working with children with MLD however, candidates with personal experience will also be considered.
