* Schedule: Full time (Monday - Friday), part-time will also be considered.
* Start Date: January 2024
* End Date: 6 months contract, with the opporuntiyt to extend.
* Rate of pay: �16 - �22 per hour.
A Day in the life of a MMT Pharmacy Technician
As Locum MMT Pharmacy Technician you will play a crucial role in supplying medication to patients, in preparation for their discharge.
* Duties will include checking patients' own medicines and ordering medication
* Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
* Dispensing on ward for discharge and supporting allocated wards with medicine management
* Offering advice to patients on the wards
* Helping the ATOs and Pharm Techs with checking when needed
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
* Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technian
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position is Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9.30am -5.30pm depending on rotas with 30mins for lunch. The contract is initially for 6 months (Januarr 2024 - June 2024), with the oportunity to extend.
