- Rate of pay: GBP16 - GBP22 per hour.
A Day in the life of a MMT Pharmacy Technician
As Locum MMT Pharmacy Technician you will play a crucial role in supplying medication to patients, in preparation for their discharge.
- Duties will include checking patients' own medicines and ordering medication
- Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
- Dispensing on ward for discharge and supporting allocated wards with medicine management
- Offering advice to patients on the wards
- Helping the ATOs and Pharm Techs with checking when needed
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
- Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technian
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position is Monday to Friday from 8.30am 4.30pm or 9.30am -5.30pm depending on rotas with 30mins for lunch. The contract is initially for 6 months (Januarr 2024 June 2024), with the oportunity to extend.
