My client is looking for a Mobile Calibration Engineer to join the team at their facilities in the Derby area. The business is a multinational company with employees across 31 Countries in a period of growth and following some investment require further support in Testing and calibrating laboratory equipment.
The business is looking for a motivated individual with a track record of working to high standards, and making improvements.
Role Description
- Calibrating measuring instrumentation and repair facilities not limited to Micrometres, Callipers, Height Gauges, Torque Wrenches, and Gauge Blocks.
- Performing to ISO9001 and UKAS standards.
- Manage the maintenance of Calibration Certification records and traceability
- Oversee the mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented.
- Expected to lead the Calibration of specialist products,
- Assist in the development and improvement of Calibration procedures
- Participate in external/internal audits as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Degrees such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC
- BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO9001 Knowledge.
- Holds UKAS signatory status
- calibration practices and theories Knowledge.
- Guide and coach Team members.
