Mobile Electrical Maintenance Supervisor – Leicester - £42,000

This is an amazing opportunity to join one of the UK's leading M&E service providers on a prestigious London contract. Our client is looking for sharp and eager engineer to take on PPM and reactive maintenance duties on a Monday - Friday basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Covering East Midlands
• Managing a Team of Mobile Electricians and Sub – Contractors.
• To provide technical engineering support for the Hard FM services working for the Mobile Services Division across Greater London with some work outside of the M25
• To carry out new electrical work as required, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complete supporting paperwork.
• To rectify defects in all electrical systems and associated plans / components.
• To respond to reactive and emergency faults in line with SLAs
• Mixed commercial portfolio – healthcare, government, corporate office & council buildings

You should possess:

•Prior experience as an Electrical Maintenance service engineer in the commercial sector, focusing on routine plant repairs and maintenance.

•Ideally, candidates should have completed a formal electrical apprenticeship or hold a Level 2 Electrical Diploma or apprenticeship. Level 3 Electrical Diploma or apprenticeship is desirable.

•Preferably, you should hold City and Guilds 2391 test and inspect certification.

•18th Edition certification.

•Approval of Risk Assessments and Method Statements, along with associated Work Permits.

•Proficiency in M&E fault finding.

•Competence in working with control panels – Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and actuators.

•Familiarity with Pumps, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), filters, belts, and pulleys.

•Certification in 2391 test and inspect, IOSH Working/Managing Safely, Safe System of Work Procedure – Permit to Work (PTW), Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), L8 Training, and Cooling Tower Operator is advantageous.
