Position Overview: As a Building Maintenance Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the electrical systems of various facilities are operating efficiently. This is a mobile role that involves traveling to multiple sites to conduct maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems across multiple sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in buildings and facilities.
- Perform repairs and replacements of electrical components, wiring, and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address broader facility maintenance needs.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in after-hours maintenance activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Electrician.
- Relevant electrical qualification is essential
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Ability to work independently and in a mobile role across multiple sites.
- Relevant electrical certifications or a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid drivers license
