The primary responsibility of this role is delivering new mobile technologies with a focus on taking applications through the lifecycle, supporting product assessment from request through development and delivery. You will also facilitate the reporting on the successful operational use of the force's digital technologies, working closely with the organisation and the wider supply chains to ensure maximum effectiveness.

- Manage application requests though the development or procurement lifecycle.
- Design and implement Management Information solutions (e.g. reports).
- Design and implement Key Performance Indicators (e.g. dashboards).
- Communicate with users, customers, and stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Participate in or chair meetings both internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain customer facing documentation (FAQs, user guides etc.)
- Experience in coordinating the successful release of a new technology or capability in terms of business readiness and early life technical support.
- Ability to analyse and evaluate the user experience of digital technologies such as mobility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently interact and empathise with all customers, users, and suppliers.
- The ability to assess information and provide insight to a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and written skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to produce management reports, policy documents and comprehensive working papers including recommendations and implementation of documents.
- Flexibility to use a variety of supporting technologies and to be innovative.

- Experience with PowerPlatform and other M365 products.
- Experience and understanding of mobile technologies.
- Good working understanding of Android Enterprise and MDM Platforms
- Experience and understanding of performance monitoring.
- Experience and understanding of KPIs.
- An understanding of benefits management.
- Good understanding of functionality, usability and user experience concepts, principles, and standards as they apply to digital technology.
- Understanding of differences and benefits of Mobile Apps, Desktop Apps and Progressive Web Apps
- Understanding of future trends and how they might be applicable to West Midlands Police.
- Good understanding of waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
- Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2).
