Mobile Tail Lift Engineer
A mobile role covering Bristol and surrounding areas
Up to GBP16.00 per hour (basic salary)
Full time, Permanent Position, 45 hours per week
An award winning Commercial Vehicle maintenance company, specialising in Tail Lifts, are looking for an experienced Mobile Tail lift Engineer to join their growing team. Your main task would be to maintain & repair Tail Lifts on commercial Vehicles.
Responsibilities include:
Working remotely using your own initiative and working to schedules
Carrying out Servicing, Maintenance & Repairs of Commercial Vehicle Tail Lifts
Undertaking LOLER Weight Testing and repairs
When required, carrying out Commercial Vehicle Body repairs and replacing exterior body parts including wing mirrors, trim, etc.
Providing excellent customer service
Experience required:
Previous commercial vehicle Tail Lift service, maintenance & repair work is essential
Knowledge of relevant LOLER or PUWER regs. for lifting equipment
Any Welding or basic Fabrication experience would be an advantage
Relevant electrical experience is expected
Full UK Driving Licence is essential
Excellent customer service abilities
Good communication skills
Excellent self-motivation and organisational skills
Additional Details:
Overtime and call-out / standby rates are paid
Call outs of 1-2 nights per week and weekends on a one-in-four week rota
45 contracted hours per week
