- We are looking for a Level 2 Mobile Phone Repair Technician to join our repair team in Tunstall.
Purpose of the Role
You will report to the repair team managers, your role will be to support performance goals along with ownership of specific jobs within Repair, ensuring that all the daily tasks/Service level agreements are completed on time and to the required standard for a range of Assurant customers.
Under moderate guidance, the Mobile Technician will inspect, refurbish, test, troubleshoot, and program electronic equipment.
As A Mobile Repair Technician, You Will:
- Conduct root cause failure analysis and troubleshooting on suspected defective device
- Perform electromechanical assembly using hand and electric tools
- Identify and report root cause deficiencies
- Identify and report routine process deficiencies
- Replace a screen assembly by disconnecting the flex connector
- Test, repair, and program devices
- Software Flashing, Software Calibration & Cosmetic Reconditioning
- Work with care and urgency to meet production goals
- Participate in continuous improvement and team-building activities
We Are Looking For Someone With:
- Experience repairing modern mobile devices and excellent troubleshooting skills (Apple)
- Keen and pays careful attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
