Responsibilities:
- Operate and control cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Communicate with team members to coordinate lifting operations
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cranes as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Crane Operator certification or license
- Proven experience operating various types of cranes
- Strong knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and lift heavy loads
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Class 2 licence required with maximum 6 points
