Mortgage Advisor – Self Employed
My client (Acumen Mortgages) is a leading mortgage provider, based out of Oldham, who are now looking to bring on a Self-Employed Mortgage Advisor to cover the Staffordshire, West Midlands and Cheshire region.
The ideal base would be in and around the Crewe area allowing for easy travel to the West Midlands and to head office when required, working on a hybrid model and an IR35 contract basis once training is complete.
My client specialises in new build, but offers all types of mortgages including remortgages, buy to let mortgages, and equity release. They leave no stone unturned when it comes to getting customers the mortgage that best fits their requirements.
Their connections and relationships mean they can secure the very best rates and move at pace for customers, they also work with some of the largest and most recognised new build housing companies across the UK.
As a self-employed Mortgage Advisor, you will be a contractor for Acumen Mortgages. You’ll have all leads, and admin support provided and will enjoy generous commission splits. As a Self-Employed Mortgage Advisor, you’ll get the chance to work with a market-leading brand with an enviable reputation within the industry. A realistic first year OTE of £70K+ with top achievers in these roles earning more than £200K per annum.

Must Haves:

Mortgage Advisor – Responsibilities
-Explain the different types of mortgages and offer products for your client to choose from
Ensure your customers can afford what they're borrowing, not only now but in the future
Explain about repayments and mortgage protection and advise on and sell related financial products
Help clients complete the mortgage application and offer general advice on the home-buying process
Be proactive as you will need to meet sales targets, and develop relationships with mortgage lenders, estate agents, and valuers
Keep up to date with new mortgage products and changes in mortgage regulation
Understand the Financial Regulator regulatory requirements and ensure you meet these
