Mortgage File Review Assessor

We are looking for a enthusiatic team player, who is keen to learn andwanting to progress a careerin the mortgages sector, File Reviewing mortgage cases and quality checking the adviser's administration.

As our Mortgage Assessor (Business Standards Assessor)you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home and from our Basildon offices. In return, you will receive excellent training, a competitive starting salary of 21,840 per annum ( 12 per hour, 35 hours per week) and will be joining a team of very welcoming and supportive colleagues.

You may or not have any mortgage related experience, but you will definately have a great eye for detail, be computer literate, and target driven to achieve great results, both in terms of the quantity and quality of File Reviews you are tasked with completing.

The role

The Mortgage Assessor (Business Standards Assessor) accepts responsibility for meeting individual performance targets, both for quantity and quality, and completing File Reviews on mortgage and insurance cases created by AR firms / mortgage and protection advisers across the network.

You will receive full training, and this role is about making sure the AR firms / mortgage and protection advisers are adhering to the Stonebridge standards and operating within all relevant regulatory controls.

The Business Standards Assessor provides insight and guidance to the mortgage and protection advisers where remedial actions are required to bring the cases up to the required standard and updates all team spreadsheets, so MI is up to date for reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in high performing culture within the team
• Complete own allocation of mortgage and protections case File Reviews and support other team members with their allocations as and when required
• Meet individual targets for quantity and quality of case File Reviews completed
• Provide guidance to AR firms / mortgage and protection advisers to enable remedial items to be completed
• Update logs / spreadsheets with details of cases managed
• Any other tasks delegated by line manager to support the team and company as required

• Previous mortgage processing or File Reviewing experiece preferred but not essential
• Able to fully satisfy the pre employment screening process which comprises of right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks.
