Mortgage Servicing Specialist - Kings Hill - up to £35,000 DOE
Hours - 08:30am - 5:30pm (Hybrid)
ME Recruits have a fantastic new opening with a specialist financial solutions provider, who are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Mortgage Servicing Specialist to play a pivotal role in their team. They are looking for strong interpersonal skills along with high efficiency and a can-do attitude, committed to meeting deadlines whilst ensuring the quality of decisions.
The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will cover the following responsibilities:
* Supporting daily operations, embodying team work and efficiently escalating cases as required.
* Dealing with incoming enquiries and correspondence effectively.
* Maintaining and building strong professional relationships with third parties, including servicers, solicitors, valuers, receivers, and auctioneers.
* Inputting, updating, and maintaining data accurately reflecting the current stage of each application.
* Effectively managing tasks to ensure all mortgage accounts are administered within SLAs.
* Auditing and daily management of missed payments and arrears.
* Liaising with external servicer, attending regular meetings, and managing referrals from the internal servicing team.
* Assisting with reporting, data handling, general administration, and the preparation and implementation of procedures.
Requirements:
* Prior experience within the Finance industry is essential, along with a good understanding of processes and procedures.
* Good knowledge of regulatory guidelines is also advantageous, however not essential.
* You should also have experience of Debt recovery / collections.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving ability.
* Able to work and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, across all peer levels, including senior management.
* Leadership / strong decision making qualities.
* Adaptability and flexibility in managing priorities and workload.
