Mortuary Manager

The mortuary service in Leicester operates across 3 hospital sites, cares for approximately 6500 patients each year and is capable of accommodating up to 700 patients simultaneously. The service has been at the forefront of developing CT as a non-invasive diagnostic alternative to traditional post-mortem for a number of years and performed over two 2000 examinations last year. This included adult, perinatal, paediatric, hospital, coronial and forensic examinations. We receive referrals, from across the UK, for coronial, bariatric and patients with group 3 pathogens, including prion disease.
