MOT Tester Required in the Woking, Surrey area
Salary: £35k Basic DOE + Overtime + perks
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota paid at time and half overtime rate
We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Dealership who has been operating in their local area since 1960's and going from strength to strength our client has a unique and not to be missed Automotive Dedicated MOT Tester opportunity! This client has an excellent reputation in the local area with over 330 Google Reviews with an average of 4.7 stars out of 5 for Sales, Service, Parts and everything between from their customers, new and old! They are seeking an Experienced MOT Tester who has at least 2 years MOT Testing experience within a Car Garage, Fast Fit Centre, Car Dealership or a similar environment, to join and support the work of their mechanical workshop Team. This is a critical role to the success of the business, as such the commission and rewards they offer set them apart from other Dealerships in their local area.
Our client is open to Dedicated MOT Tester but would prefer a MOT Tester / Service Technician to help with flexibility in the day to day running of the automotive mechanical workshop team based in Woking, Surrey.

Within this MOT Tester role your typical duties will include:

• All things class 4 MOT Testing - internal cars and local customers vehicles
• Servicing; brakes, pads, springs - mainly for MOT fails and getting them ready for retest
• Working effectively within our client's workshop and management team to ensure industry-leading standards of safety, customer care and satisfaction at all times.
• MOT Testing can be rotated with other's in the workshop

The ideal candidate will posses the following attributes:

• A successful track record in a workshop environment
• Confidence and skills in all aspects of MOT Repairs
• Great attention to detail during vehicle inspections and reporting accurately to VOSA / DVSA
• Great communication skills, as you’ll be talking to the team to advise what work needs to be completed for the car to pass MOT test
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
• A full driving licence
