Job Title: Motor Claims Specialist
Location: Rochdale
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum
Job Description: We are currently seeking a Motor Claims Specialist to join our team in Rochdale. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing motor insurance claims from start to finish. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide exceptional customer service will be crucial for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
Accurately process motor insurance claims, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Investigate and assess claims to determine coverage, liability, and potential fraud.
Communicate with policyholders, repairers, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
Provide guidance and support to policyholders throughout the claims process, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Negotiate settlements and manage claim payments within authorized limits.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and loss adjusting, to ensure seamless claim handling.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files and databases.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to Motor Claims.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in Motor Claims handling or a similar role is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to analyze and interpret policy language and claim documentation.
Proficient in using claims management software or similar computer systems.
Knowledge of motor insurance policies and coverages.
Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to Motor Claims.
Customer-focused approach with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally and empathetically.
Good organizational and time management skills.
