This is an exciting opportunity to join the Claims team in our Milton Keynes office as an experienced Customer Claims Handler in our Motor Claims Validation team. The ability to organise and multi-task are essential skills required for this role. Other responsibilities will include:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Claims team in our Milton Keynes office as an experienced Customer Claims Handler in our Motor Claims Validation team. The ability to organise and multi-task are essential skills required for this role. Other responsibilities will include:
- Investigating, negotiating and settling your own portfolio of claims within agreed authority level in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
- Proactively handling a caseload to achieve efficient and competitive settlements, ensuring claims are properly reserved and that unpursued claims are settled in accordance with settlement guidelines
- Liaising with underwriters to ensure proper interpretation and application of policy wordings and appropriate knowledge transfer
- Liaising with suppliers and Loss Adjusters on behalf of our customers
- Paying valid claims ensuring the proper application of policy limits and excesses
- Providing a high standard and quality of customer service with the ability to deliver high quality work to meet deadlines
- Handling allocated internal tasks e.g. inactivity, diary, cheques and recoveries, ensuring that all are dealt with within applicable time limits.
Role Requirements:
- End to end claims experience is essential - ideally Motor Claims
- Positive attitude and professionalism
- Influential and friendly with the ability to speak confidently and liaise with a wide range of people
- Understanding of a compliant and target driven environment
- High levels of resilience, perseverance, self-belief and motivation.
This is hybrid working role with two days per week in the milton keynes office.
