Our client, providers of freight forwarding services, are currently looking for a Motor Insurance Claims Administrator to join their team in Essex, working on a part time basis; for 20 hours per week.
As the Motor Insurance Claims Administrator, you will be reporting to the Accounts Manager and Directors. Day to day duties will involve dealing with customers by phone and email, handling all administration relating to Motor Insurance Claims and tracking the progress of those claims.
Motor Insurance Claims Administrator duties:
- Logging claims, sending insurance reserve letter to haulier's holding them responsible.
- If claim becomes viable then forward onto claims handler so they can raise a claim
- Seek further information from the relevant parties where necessary and send onto the claims handler until a settlement is reached or claim is disputed. Deal with as prescribed in the Insurance manual.
- Liaise with internal and external customers for all claims.
- Liaise with insurance company and provide all necessary documentation to enable claim to be settled.
- Maintain and keep up to date relevant spreadsheet for all claims raised.
- Assist Accounts team members with duties relevant to the accounts team, where time permits.
- Train other members of staff as and when required.
Working hours are 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday; either 10am to 2pm, or 11am to 3pm.
In return, the Motor Insurance Claims Administrator will earn GBP13 per hour.
