An independent garage located in Merthyr Tydfil that carry out car servicing, MOT’s and general repairs is currently seeking a Motor Vehicle Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis!
The ideal candidates will be experienced in routine maintenance and repair of all makes of car and light commercial vehicles.
Duties include:
- Assessment of vehicles, including driving vehicles
- Conducting servicing, timing belt and chain changes, general assessments, and diagnostics of vehicles
- All general repairs of the vehicle
- Must be capable of carrying out small and major repairs.
- General housekeeping and maintenance of work areas
- Mot tester preferred but not essential.
- Solid experienced mechanic, used to dealing with a range of vehicles.
- NVQs Level 1, 2 and 3 in Motor Vehicle repairs or a similar qualification.
- Full UK driving license
- Location: Merthyr Tydfil
- Salary range: Negotiable on Experience
