(Mould Setter) - Position Overview
- Setting up and maintaining moulding machines, ensuring optimal production efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct thorough inspections and validations to ensure moulds are properly installed and aligned.
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters to optimise production efficiency and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the moulding process.
- Conduct regular quality checks on produced parts to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Collaborate with quality control personnel to address and rectify any quality issues promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance on moulds and machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and address any mechanical issues, coordinating with the maintenance team as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of mould setups, changes and production parameters.
- Provide input for process documentation and improvement environment.
(Mould Setter) - Position Requirements
- Strong background in mould setting
- Keen eye for detail
- A passion for contributing to the success of a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience as a Mould Setter for at least 3 years minimum.
- Technical expertise in setting up and troubleshooting moulding machines.
- Knowledge of materials, resins and their properties
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
(Mould Setter) - Position Remuneration
- Salary £30k - £35k depending experience
- Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:40pm
- Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm
- Free parking
- 20 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays
