We are a new state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary referral small animal practice, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. With our practice being RCVS accredited to Small Animal Veterinary Hospital level, it allows us to provide outstanding levels of care to our patients with a kind and compassionate approach. Your role and responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity to join our nursing team as a multi-disciplinary nurse, dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care.
You will be working over all of the different disciplines, and therefore, it is essential that you to have an adaptable and flexible approach to your work, as well as a strong willingness to learn.
Working within our dynamic clinical team, p revious referral experience is not essential, as strong support and full training will be provided.
Key duties will include:
- Assisting the Veterinary Surgeons with any procedures/consultations/inpatient checks.
- Working alongside our dedicated discipline and multidisciplinary nurses within Wards/Imaging/Surgery/Oncology/Internal Medicine
- Monitoring of patients under anaesthesia of all ASA grades with support from our anaesthesia RVN’s
- Assisting front of house/dispensary duties
