About The Role
This is a Fixed-Term position working 3.5 hours per week.
The School of Health and Social Care is seeking to appoint a part-time Multi-professional Practice Education Facilitator to work within the Paramedic Science Team to contribute to development and quality assurance of non-ambulance clinical placements within the paramedic science programmes.
The successful applicant would be joining an established, successful paramedic teaching team to develop and enhance clinical placements across NHS Wales in all areas of clinical practice. Interprofessional clinical placements are a key component of all healthcare programmes within the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Life Science, and the postholder will contribute to enhancing this provision for paramedic students on clinical placement.
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will help to strengthen links between our various programmes of study and our key stakeholders, e.g., WAST, local Health Boards, local authorities, the third sector, and HEIW.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
