Multi Skilled Carpenter

Salary: £36,950 per annum, inc benefits
We are working on behalf of a housing association who are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Carpenter to join the responsive repairs team who will ideally have experience of working within a social housing or local authority environment.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking carpentry and repairs and maintenance work, including fire door maintenance installations and remedials (upgrades), to provide high quality, 'right first time', cost effective building services to the business and it's customers.
- Repairing or replacing sinks and bath waste
- Removing and re-fixing radiators (including drain down and isolate)
- Replacing or replacing door handles and locks, kitchen cupboard doors and drawers.
- Fixing / grouting ceramic tiles
- Fixing plasterboard to walls and ceilings and applying skim up to a maximum of 2 square metres
- Stripping wallpaper
- Fixing kitchen plinths
- Using PDAs / mobiles to complete works, key communications, and updates.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
- Asbestos Awareness
