Synergi are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer to join a leading food and FMCG company based in Stevenage.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Being responsible for conducting breakdown repairs and PPM activity


• Use of conveyor systems, bagging and boxing machines, extruders, cutters, electrical motors, pumps, blowers, sealing machines, compressors, ovens, and fryers


• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on all equipment on site


• Complete written reports on maintenance work carried out and identify future maintenance work


• Have an active role in team briefings and communication meetings


• Help with organisation of stores, always ensuring sufficient stocks of parts, and submitting any orders to the Engineering Manager


• Make suitable recommendations for continuous improvement


• Assist with the installation and development of new projects and equipment

Skills Required:

• Manufacturing/FMCG/Food/Distribution/Production experience


• 2 years proven Electrical Engineering experience


• Level 3 Equivalent in mechanical or electrical disciplines


• PLC Fault Finding Experience


• Experience with Conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, values, Hydraulics
